Having been forced into relocating due to the nearby airport expansion plans falling to within the boundaries of their previous dwelling; we were delighted to gain planning permission for exceptional circumstances on green belt land for our clients. The dwelling brief was to provide a home which would be of a size to accommodate a large family, bright, of traditional appearance externally with internal features to offer something ‘unexpected’. The result has satisfied planning service, building control regulations and, most importantly, our client. Whilst the internal layout has cellular rooms / accommodation an open plan feel has been achieved through glazed partitions. A large dramatic open living space with 2 storey height provides visitors with the welcoming entrance. From here, the kitchen, dining and living spaces are all accessible. Upstairs, all bedrooms have access from the landing which allows those passing through to view the entrance / living area.
