Ardkill Dwelling
Set within an idyllic rural setting, on a large plot with a river course running along the rear, this new build dwelling had already been approved with another agent when ADMS Architects were approached to provide the client with a more contemporary interior layout / design.
So as to retain the approval as the external appearance of the dwelling would remain exactly the same, we sought to rearrange the interior to allow for a more open plan and sun-filled layout which could compliment the young and energetic family who would live here.
Open living areas combined with private reception spaces has allowed the design to fulfil the original planning approval, whilst meeting the clients’ expectations fully as to how they would like to inhabit the dwelling. In our book, if we are meeting these elements of a design brief, it must be on the right track to being received successfully!
