Set on the outskirts of Greysteel, ADMS Architects were successful in gaining full planning approval for a replacement dwelling for a 2-storey dwelling. Despite having to endure 2 long planning committee meetings, we were able to persuade the councillors if the requirement for our client to have a house, so that they could live on what would be their full-time farm – allowing what was a derelict business to once again become a thriving part of this rural area.

With farming being the absolute mainstay of the client, the dwelling design was based around this – including allowing for direct access to the farmyard areas, as well as containing an office and wash areas distinct from the main family areas of the dwelling. With farm loving sons who have a pure love for tractors, this farm will be in safe hands for generations to come.
