Nisa Local Gortnessy

Following the successful completion of the housing development of Gortnessy Meadows, of over 100 units, which added to the already established adjoining residential area – the final part of this particular project was the inclusion of a small local supermarket.

ADMS gained approval for a supermarket, with large basement store / accommodation and 4 2-bedroom apartments on the upper level.

The structure occupies a central location within the residential build up and has proved a vital service to this community.

Built and operated by a local family, the new retail premises has given a lifeline to residents of the area, who would otherwise have required a car journey to the closest shop.

Working alongside the shop interior designer, ADMS Architects were able to reach all stages of completion and statutory approval sign-off to allow the unit to also achieve a court granted liquor license to permit this vital element of sales.
