Another challenging brief was brought to us by our client on this project, who requested that we should attempt to gain an additional floor of space on top of the existing 2 storey premises which originally existed. After devising a design which would achieve this, as well as not upsetting the general context of this closely aligned pedestrian shopping street approval was gained from planning service. ADMS then provided a full service on the build of the project and, despite the main contractor unfortunately going out of business mid way through the contract; we were able to work along with the Quantity Surveyor to bring the scheme to a very successful completion, much to the delight of the client. The business has since continued to thrive in its new surroundings.
