The Glen Bar

Serving as a small, but popular local ‘watering hole’ for decades, The Glen Bar was something of an institution to locals from the Waterside Area. Having closed its doors in the late 80’s / early 90’s, ADMS were approached by the then new owners of the bar to design a complete re-build of the property.

This design had a replacement public bar at its core – and now being joined with the neighbouring property, a larger pub was to be planned – meeting customer demands of the age. In addition, ADMS achieved full planning approval for a basement (which matches the size of the actual bar), and two individual apartments on the 1^st floor – Truly increasing the overall value of this site as a mixed use commercial and residential investment.

The bar has been a true success storey and retains its place within the local areas as a well-respected public house.

ADMS were proud to have played their part in bringing this design to life – not only because we love to be involved with local investments and see them thrive – but especially this one, as it always serves fantastic pints!
