McCarters Carpets

Another local, family run, business it has been an honour to work with was McCarter Carpets. Established almost 50 years ago, McCarters have managed to grow the business and carve out a niche for ourselves as one of the most prestigious flooring retailers in Northern Ireland.

Unique to McCarters is the fact that they are the only Amtico One retailer in the country, and as, approached ADMS Architects to undertake the design of a purpose made showroom facility to accommodate this premium brand flooring – allowing customers to browse the range within a prestigious and relaxed environment.

Although faced with a difficult site, since the design would need to respect the original old church building the current showroom is located within, as well as not impacting on the small single storey dwelling adjacent to the site – we devised a proposal which both client and planning loved – both giving their approval with no amendments required!

We are delighted to see the fantastic results of this bespoke showroom – and wish McCarters every success in their continued growth.

The project is nearing completion on site, with some external finishes to be finalised – hopefully the sketch 3D images will allow an impression of how this will look. Further images will be added in due course.
